NASA Seeds.

The first pack is defined as "Earth based seed: Tomato Rutgers California Supreme".
These seeds have been "sealed at scientifically controlled low moisture content to insure peak
vigour in the seed  until you are ready to plant."  It also says "This seed remained in climate controlled storage
 at Park Seed Co. in Greenwood, South Carolina, during the LDEF1 Mission."
This first pack is defined as the "control group".

The second pack contains space exposed seed. 
The packet says "These seeds were flown in space aboard the LDEF which was launched April 6, 1984
 on space Shuttle Challenger and returned to Earth January 20, 1990 on Space Station Columbia."
