Piaggio P166B Portofino card and timetable on rear.

The prototype P166B was purchased by Queensland Airlines for £88000 and registered VH-PQA to
Queensland Airlines Pty. Ltd.  on the 7 th  December 1963.

 It was delivered from Italy by Captains R. J. Atkinson & D. R. Flynn, arriving in Brisbane 10th of January 1964.

Its 1st service was Brisbane-Kingaroy-Gayndah 20th of January 1964.
It mainly operated Brisbane-Kingaroy-Wondai, Brisbane-Moree-St. George, Brisbane-Bundaberg & Brisbane-Rockhampton services.

 It was then registered to Australian National Airways Pty. Ltd. 14th December 1964.
It crash-landed at Brisbane Airport 14th May 1965, after its starboard undercarriage failed to retract.
 It was damaged at Bundaberg 14th July 1965 & was withdrawn from service 14th May 1966, after the arrival of F.27.
Note the day of the 14th seems to be attracted to this aircraft!

Queensland Airlines ceased to exist in 1966 when it was merged with Ansett ANA.
