About the Collection

Hello.

My name is Zarik, I am the Principle Author Owner & Custodian of this collection.

This collection is my effort to save and preserve Australian Commercial Aviation History and preserve a part of Australia’s Cultural Heritage for this and future generations to research and enjoy.

I search all over the world to collect objects for the collection.

Every object in the collection is photographed and displayed
right here on this web site, for you to experience.

Once an object is photographed and described it is carefully stored.

The collections  focus is Australian Commercial Airlines.

Australia's turbulent airline history makes for very interesting
history indeed.

Over the past 20 years, more than 74 domestic airlines have gone  into demise through liquidation, bankruptcy, receivership, merger or the subject of a takeover.

I also have on display some "other" aviation objects.

These items are not necessarily Australian but are I believe interesting.

I would like to acknowledge a few people who have given me assistance along the way.

They are:

Fred Niven Aviation Historian
Phil Slade Hostwa Internet
Australian Aviation Magazine
W.A. Museum MAP Program
Gary Deakin Powerhouse Museum Longreach Q.L.D.
Collections Australia Network

Thank you all for your help.
